The mother of all headaches & Imraldi...

Just had a rotten headache...went back to bed for 2 hours with the curtains closed in the end after two ibruprofen tablets. Ages since one like this, as I started biosimilar Imraldi (adalimumab) 3 days ago, just wondering if it’s related ?

I have felt a lot better, swelling in hands & back of knees has gone down considerably & hoping this is just a temporary hiccup.xx

Hi Julia,. Let's hope this just a temporary blip.

Good that otherwise you are feeling better.

Fingers crossed for you.

Lots of good vibes going your way.

Love Pauline xx

If you have headaches like that sometimes, before starting the biosimilar, it might not be related.

I hope you soon pick up.

Hi, such a relief to hear you a little better.

I shall nag my nurse tomorrow to chance my meds. Paranoid that my papers may have gone astray.

I will quite happily bribe someone to get then quickly.

Please keep updating us as I am sure I am not the only one hanging on your every word.

So happy for you.

Love Pauline xx

Hi Julia,. I hope you are still making headway.

Healthcare at home have 16 working days from receipt of prescription, then allow 5 days to arrange a nurse. This brings me to the end of the month.

I am really chomping at the bit as I have been waiting literally months. I should not complain as I am fortunate to be given the treatment. Just want 'some' quality of life back.

Lots of the very best wishes. Pauline xx

Hi Pauline my prescription went to H A H 19th July, they delivered it 2nd August & Nurse came out 6th August... also I bought a coolmeds bag with the thermometer & all the gel freezer packs & buffers & am using this to check that I’m keeping the biosimilars at the recommended 2-8c temperature in the fridge. Four Imraldi pens in the boxes fit perfectly & the temp is sitting at 5.2 C.. can’t recommend you do this highly enough & if you decide to get one you get them vat free at weldricks.co.uk for £40 inc free delivery x

Hi Julia, as usual great to hear from you.

Thank you for the tip about the icepack. I did buy a fridge thermometer but shall do as you advise.

How are you feeling at the moment. So comforting to be in contact with you.
