Orancia and leaky injection

I'm wondering if anyone has any idea why my Orancia injection doesn't all go in. I've been on it for 4 months and doing well, but twice now after I've finished the injection, it looks as though half of it didn't go in. I even counted to 20 to make sure. I'd be grateful for any help. Thanks all

Hi - I am on Orencia and had the same thing where the liquid appeared stuck in the transparent area - so had spillage. Happened again last week but the majority got it. I wondered if the pens are faulty. You’re not alone.

Glad to know someone else is on this biologic - how are you finding it?

Hi Hessie. Thanks for answering. Such a good site. Orancia seems to work for me, plus 5mg Prednisolone. It's my 3rd biologic. The other two made my white cells really low. It's been 18 months with on and off meds, then Orancia. After 6 weeks I felt so much better. Just like I used to. Fingers crossed. Good luck with it

It's my sixth or seventh (losing count) biologic - as same as you my neutrophils dropped to 0.3! My seventh injection of Orencia.

I feel a somewhat better, but still have the pain in feet and constant sore hands 😬 The chronic inflammation seems to like me sadly.

So still not like I used to - trying to avoid prednisone. Still praying I wake up pain free 😌

Yes I have the same problem, it’s not like the other pens that withdraw once dose has been given, (this is my 5th biologic). It often makes me bleed and bruise but no severe reaction site as others have given. It’s a new drug so maybe they will improve the pen? Glad to hear it’s making a difference for you, good luck 😊

Thanks everyone. Good luck all. It's all trial and error. I make the most of the good times.
