Well I had my 4th benepali injection last night and I dont know what it is doing but last night I slept through from 11pm to 7am for the first time in 2 years since just before I got diagnosed. Generally feel like it's working too but I worry it's still the effects of the steroid that's still in my system. Although a steroid has never worked this well. Cant believe I slept through!! X

I was in so so much pain. Now some days I feel like I'm cured and other days just a bit of pain but nothing major! Yep benepali pen 50g. My hair has been thinning since mtx to be honest but I had very thick hair so so far it's not a bad thing......unless I go bald of course 😛 xx

Oh I am glad as now I know it is the benepali. I think it may be working for me but know they can stop working so I'm just glad of each good day I get xx

Same here Hels, came off it for 2 weeks due to antibiotics & worries me too, take each day as it comes I guess but it was such a relief to be able to sleep normally after over a year (still not sure if that was drugs or disease not controlled enough?); really takes it toll on you. Hope it continues x

Great news! I’ve been taking it since November and like you, two years of steroids and some misery. It works for me, I have my life back and came off the steroids finally in November. My Rheumy nurse also takes it. She was unable to walk and in a wheelchair and now she’s back doing the hill walking she loves.
