Golimumab and leflunomide

Good evening. This is my first post so please be gentle. I inject golimumab monthly and take 20mg leflunomide daily for psoriatic and osteoporosis. Also drugs alingside these because of the side effects. I've only been on golimumab for 6 months after benepali failed for some reason. 7 months ago I lost my dad and soulmate. In the last 2 months I have started having eczema and now how a throbbing headache for the last 10 days. Nothing will rid me of it including naproxen. Some say the symptoms are grieving and others say it is a side effect. Getting short on patience and thinking of stopping all meds to let my body clear itself before deciding whether to start anything again either natural or biologic. Can anyone help me please.

Have a blood test to see how your liver is doing. Leflunomide hit my liver big time..u might just need to drop your dose to 10 mg. So sorry about your dad,I know how u feel...couldn’t cry for 2 months after my dads death,it was like my whole body shut down. Does get better...time... hope u lose the headache soon..horrible. Go see your doc.🌸

Thanks Yogi bear. It's good to know that I am not alone in what seems to be a nightmare.

You need to speak to your doctor.....he/she knows your medical conditions & what drugs will ease your symptoms..

However, , grief manifests itself in many different ways...maybe a course of antidepressants will ease you over your loss, and then you can deal with the drugs you are taking? Ask your doctor.

If you really think about it I’m sure you will realise stopping all your meds will only make things worse.

Make an urgent appointment & get some professional help......we all need to do that at times.

I hope you get some relief soon.
