Kavzara - what should I expect.

Anyone have experience with Kavzara? After so many bad side affects from Humira, DR making a change. It is fairly new, I’m curious as to what to expect.

Hi - I am on this biologic only recent to be honest. Herewith my experience thus far:

First injection was in April at 200ml - I was also taking Prednisone. Things seemed ok. I wasn't sure if this was due to the Prednisone. However, my issues are biologics drop my white blood cell count very low. I was taken off after 2 injections at 200ml.

My Rheumy decided to change dosage to 150ml - lloyds healthcare delivery service were appalling! I was off biologics for 8 weeks due to their incompetence - which lead to extreme pain and swelling. In fact everything came back ESR and CRP at 100!!!

I had a 150 ml injection last week Thursday finally - it is going to take a while to kick in.

Right now I am wracked in pain in both hands, excuse my typing. Going to beg to be put on Pred.

I would recommend you get blood tested every week. Make sure your healthcare providers can get this biologic too!
