HS diagnosed. Will Humira cause weight gain?

I've just been diagnosed with HS and looking into humira. All the research looks like it will keep HS in check but cause weight gain. This makes no sense to me because with HS it's recommended to loose weight. So I'm very confused and concerned. Because HS is fairly new I can't find much on it. Anything will help

Although not quite the same drug I am on benepali for RD. Weight gain can be an issue for some people on benepali, but it has really knocked my appetite off and I've lost 9 lbs in just under a month. I am happy about the weight loss for now. We all respond to drugs differently, so the issue over weight should not unduly worry you, just take care over your diet and eat healthily.

I have HS also. I've been taking Humira for about 6 months. No weight gain. =)
