Infliximab into tissue not vein

So I had my infliximab infusion yesterday and it took 4 attempts to get the line in, 1 hour into my treatment my arm became real sore and I noticed that around the infusion site was really read. I called the nurse over and she stopped the infusion and removed the infusion and called a dr as infliximab had gone into my tissues and not vein, they eventually put my infusion in another vein, bit I’m wondering will my infusion be less effective as I’ve not had the full dose?

Oh dear, didn't they flush your vein after inserting canular? This would have shown if it was inserted correctly. You need to ask about the dose you received and if this was enough.

Hope all goes well next time xx
