I’ve suffered with RA since 2014

Had methotrexate, benapali, orencia

They worked for short period but I kept getting serious chest infections and had to stop them.

Now they want to try Bariciinib ! Anyone else been offered this drug ?

I had to come off all meds, bar hydroxy, for 2+ years because of recurring infections. Been on a low dose, 2mg, of baricitinib for 9 months with no infections so far. A big plus with baricitinib is it leaves the body within a couple of days if you have to stop taking it due to an infection. That's the main reason my rheumy put me on it.

Oooh. I'll bet you can't wait to finish the blooming things and get on with the baricitinib. Roll on next week

There have been quite a few posts on this - if you put baricitinib into the search box you should find them. Several people in our local Gwent group have been put on this recently and it does seem effective for some. There is some information these new JAK inhibitors on the NRAS website too.
