Morning all just an update ive been told by my doctor ive RA all over ,its killing me , thank god im seeing the specialist on Tuesday the pain in all my joints is a nightmare

Yes it’s certainly no fun having RA but I hope you get some relief after your appointment. Are you on any meds yet Knee74?

I hope your Specialist is rather more empathetic. It’s no fun being in so much pain so I hope he can give you something to calm things down, Knee74. Tuesday will be here soon. What are you taking at the moment? Take care. xx

Let us know how you get on at your appointment please. My GP said to me that I have RA and OA all over me and added on the end "Bless You." A specialist looked as some of my X-rays once, looked up and me and said "Poor You" and another one said he would just go under if he had as many conditions as I do. I have been tried on all kinds of medication and am still in a lot of pain, but I don't want to bother you with that. I am now waiting for a shoulder replacement and a knee replacement. All I can say is to keep on top of all your appointments and keep bothering them if they are overdue or don't arrive at all. I wish you all the best, I know what it is like to be in pain everywhere and I also have fibromyalgia as well so I never really know what condition is causing which pain.
