What is it with inflammatory arthritis or grumble, grumble.

Went to catch a train to town this afternoon. No hurrying or anything. As I walked round to the station I noticed that my lower legs were starting to hurt. Not on my shins but to the sides of them a crampy kind of feeling - both legs, definitely didn’t feel good. By the time I got to where I was going and since then on my ankles are absolutely agony.

They feel like someone has pulled my feet off and hasn’t managed to put them on properly. They seem hurt right up the front f my ankle, I feel like I can barely walk now and it feels as if I’m not sure if my ankles will support me when I try to take steps - on top of all that I’ve still got the sore left thumb joint and my right thumb doesn’t feel too hot either.

Right now I’ve got a hot water bottle over my feet and ankles, I’ve had two ibuprofen and I’m off to soak in some Epsom salts and rub on some magnesium cream. Hopefully I’ll waken up a bit more ‘normal ‘ tomorrow.

If your feet and ankles are giving you trouble perhaps you could ask for a referral to podiatry? Foot pain can make life quite miserable and it's quite amazing the difference their treatment can make. I do hope things calm down for you soon

Yes it’s a horrible disease, I too have had painful legs, Naproxen tablets are a help, think resting them also, but it’s so hard when wo4king full time, good luck with it all.
