flare with RA

Hi Everyone, I am going through horrible flare seems to be lastIng for ever started with my ankle then my upper left arm and shoulder all the way could not move it then it cleared up within a few hours right arm and shoulder that cleared then my left wrist, taken all pain killers even a few steroids that I had that consultant gave when going on holiday woke up yesterday pain free except for upset stomach with all the medication I took, before I went to bed left hand index finger has started , feeling very downt. Rang the hospital on Thursday have to wait until Tuesday for tel appointment to see what they can do sorry for the moan x

Hi Tillie, sorry to hear about your flare Sounds like you’ve done the best you can, with what you had to hand. Don’t apologise for the moan, you had a lot worth moaning about. Unlike my 12yo Italian Greyhound, Yanni, who (I kid you not!) ricked her neck trying to get out from under her blankets. Well, you’ve never heard such a carry on, It was Iggie death scream Mach 11, walking around like Quasimodo and keeping me up all night 🤣

My heart is with you, at least you know the intense flare up won't last long. I take cdb also now and I think it's helping loads, no side effects like the painkillers. Hope it eases soon and you can rest up today x

Hi Fiona thanks for the reply, I have brought some CDB oil today used once so far I hope it works but maybe this is all in my mind but the pain in my hand I can hardly feel it is very swollen but not really sore, let's hope the CDB oil will work for me X

That's good news re the CBD Oil. What is the brand name, where do you get it from and what does it cost? I'm keen to try it but don't know where to start as it comes in different strains etc!

Hi the shop is called reviter (I think you spell the name of the shop like this) I brought LOVECBD oil entourage oil 800mg you can get lower doses but I was in a lot of pain is went for the higher I also brought LOVECBD balm to rub on hands when I get a flare. I am not sure if you have a shop in your area but Holland and Barrett have it for 1/2 price I was told, oil cost £49.99 balm £13.99 good luck

Hi, so sorry about your flare, but I have the same top of my right arm the pain is awful and keeps me awake at night. Just gone back on MXT after 4 months off due to recurring eye infection, back on it 6 days and have another eye infection, what a pain this RA is. Hope you improve soon.

Hi I am sorry to hear you are in pain it is a horrible thing to suffer with I have been pain free for 3 days now it feels wonderful I even feel better happier not depressed, I only hope that it continues, lets hope the mtx starts to work soon x
