Do you mean cortisone injections perhaps? In other words a steroid injection? They work well for me!
Rheumatology depts often run late, they're notoriously understaffed. It's a nuisance but we've little option but to wait, we need to see them don't we?! You never know maybe one of the patients before you had lots of issues Qso it turned into a particularly long meet, I know I've been aware of others waiting before now if mine is a long one. My dept has feedback forms in the waiting room, I've filled one in before now but don't know how effective they are.
I hope the steroid injection helps when you have it. I was supposed to have one in my knee as well the other week but I'd have needed to wait for an appointment so opted for a general that the nurse could give me but it did nothing. Can't win. Slipped on the ice yesterday & landed on the other knee so that's as swollen now along with a painful wrist & back.
Podiatrists can really help. I see mine regularly. Sorry, I don't know what deniplin is but sorry it's not working. Hope the new one does though, what have they prescribed?
