NRAS Group Meetings— Week Commencing 14th January 2019
3 Counties NRAS Group (Surrey/Hants/Berks)
This group meets at St. Francis Church Hall, 121 Upper Chobham Road, Frimley, Surrey, GU15 1EE bi-monthly on a Tuesday from 7:00pm-9:00pm.
15th January - Guest speaker: Andrew Nesbitt PhD, Former Medical Director at UCB Pharma will present: 'Everything you ever wanted to know about biologics but were afraid to ask!'
Torbay NRAS Group
This group hold their meetings at: Barton Baptist Church, Happaway Road, Barton, Torquay, TQ2 8HJ once every other month on a Tuesday evening from 7:00-9:00pm.
15th January - New Year Social Evening. Informal chat, nibbles and drinks with various guests and your NRAS team.
Heart of England (Solihull) NRAS Group
This NRAS group meets on a Wednesday once a month at Solihull Women’s Institute, 745 Warwick Road, Solihull, B91 3DG from 7:00pm to 9:00pm.
16th January - This is an opportunity to review the past year as well as to share experiences with other people living with RA. New comers welcome.
Stoke on Trent NRAS Group
The Stoke-on-Trent NRAS Group hold meetings in the outpatients waiting area at the Haywood Hospital, High Lane, Burslem, ST6 7AG on the third Thursday of every other month from 7:00-8:30pm.
17th January - Local GP, Annabelle Machin is going to talk about her research findings. This particular research is focused on nurse-led reviews at GP surgeries for arthritis patients with an emphasis on other possible health issues - in particular low mood associated with the condition.
Yeovil NRAS Group
The Yeovil NRAS Group hold coffee mornings at Palmers Garden Centre Coffee Shop, Bernards Way, Bunford Lane, Yeovil, BA20 2FH from 10:30am-12:00pm. First coffee morning for 2019: Thursday 17th January.
Mid Somerset NRAS Group
Meetings are held at the Taunton Rugby Club, Hyde Lane, Bathpool, Taunton TA2 8BU.
Saturday 19th January 11am - Guest speakers: Dave Hooper and Juliet Rowe (sports and remedial massage therapists) and Alastair Oxberry (Podiatrist) will present: 'A combined approach to keeping you moving'
