Benapali Side Effects

Hi. I started Benapali injections last week, following two years on methotrexate, Humira and Steroid injections which no longer helped sadly (got to the stage where my body could cope with the side effects). An hour after injection of Benapali I have had waves of constant nausea and a headache that will not shift which has lasted a week....is this normal? Also has anyone experienced weight gain with this particular biologic? I have gained weight since the start of treatment- around one stone and is so hard to lose 🙄! Thanks for reading 🤗

Hi mouse I’ve been on benepali about 3 months, but nothing like side effects you’ve got: bit tired for couple of days, v rarely slight nausea, headache (so much better than MTX I was on for a year tho). I’d ring/email advice line, Hope you get some answers, relief soon x

PS yep put on a bit of weight 🙁
