NRAS Group Meetings— Week Commencing 10th September 2018

Great Yarmouth NRAS Group

The Great Yarmouth & Waveney NRAS Group meet in the ‘Buzz Room’ of the Louise Hamilton Centre, James Paget Hospital, Gorleston, Great Yarmouth, NR31 6LA from 5:30pm-7:00pm on the second Tuesday of each month (January-November).

11th September - Jordan Carroll, Healthwatch

Mid Somerset NRAS Group

Meetings are held at the Taunton Rugby Club, Hyde Lane, Bathpool, Taunton TA2 8BU.

Tuesday 11th September 7pm - Guest speaker: Firefighter, Mark Hannaford from Green Watch, Station 61 Taunton will present: 'Home fire safety'

North West NI NRAS Group

Meetings are held quarterly in the MDEC/Trust HQ building at Altnagelvin Area Hospital, Glenshane Road, Londonderry BT47 6SB ) from 7pm - 8:30pm.

Tuesday 11th September in the Dennis Desmond Room, MDEC/Trust HQ building - 'Looking to the future – what’s happening for people with arthritis?' to be presented by Dr Philip Gardiner, Consultant

Rheumatologist, WHSCT

Mid Cornwall NRAS Group

The Mid Cornwall NRAS group - PIRATES (people involved in RA training, education and support) meet at Carnon Downs Village Hall, Tregye Road, Carnon Downs, Truro TR3 6GH every other month on a Wednesday from 6:30pm-8:30pm.

12th September - Guest speaker: Frances Paull, Qualified Nutritional Therapist and member of The British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine.

Worcester NRAS Group

Bi-monthly meetings take place on Wednesdays between 6.45pm to 8.30pm at the Lyppard Hub in Ankerage Green, Warndon Villages, Worcester WR4 0DZ.

12th September - Dr Marie Falahee, Lecturer in Behavioural Rheumatology, University of Birmingham, will present: ‘Patient Involvement in the Rheumatology Research Group at the University of Birmingham’

Croydon Area NRAS Group

The Croydon NRAS group hold meetings at Purley United Reform Church Hall, 906 Brighton Road, Purley, Surrey, CR8 2LN from 7:00pm-8:30pm.

13th September - Andrew Nesbitt PhD, Former Medical Director at UCB Pharma will present: 'Everything you ever wanted to know about biologics but were afraid to ask!'

You, your family, friends and healthcare professionals are all very welcome to attend and you don’t have to be a member of NRAS to attend a group meeting!
