Rituximab after first infusion

Had first infusion three weeks ago.. was due second but had food poisoning. My query is feel shaky and tired. Is this a side effect and if so will it ease of

I'm due to see ra pharmacist abt it after I fail with benapali I really don't want it if it goin to make me any worse I've not seen many good reports and it takes so long just lets see how you go on 🤔

Have you spoken to your rheumy nurse? I have never had any Gastric problems from RTX...it is more likely be the after effects of the food poisoning....but your nurse will know what to do now,

You have only had half your infusions...I don't know how long you can wait for the second dose ...so speak to your rheumy team ASAP...you don't want to miss out....it might be time sensitive.

Hi Maggie, just home after start of 4 set of rituximab, feeling quite nauseous and drained at the moment. I have felt like this before but it doesn’t usually last 3 weeks . Did you see your gp about the food poisoning as you do need to get this checked out when on biologics . Hope you feel better soon 🌸

did u get antibiotics as they wd help the gut [maybe] but then u need to feed gut flora to get a balance again... ?keffir maybe? xx
