You can have rheumatoid arthritis when you have negative RF and anti-CCP blood tests. It's called sero negative rheumatoid arthritis. However the doctor will have made his/her diagnosis based on something else. Do you know what that was?
Anyway, you can always ask for a second opinion, but helpful if you take all the results with you.
Hi deepakverma1002 ,
helixhelix is right, being RF and anti-CCP negative doesn't mean you don't have RA, diagnosis is based on a range of factors. It's also very possible that you have another form of inflammatory arthritis, like one of the seronegative arthritides. If that were the case, the treatment plan would be very similar. What 'arthritis medicines' have you been prescribed?
