Oh you are swollen, you must be in so much pain. Well done for having your jab , the first 3 days made it worse for me then very gradual, day on day, improvement.... best of luck!

Give it a couple of days but if that doesn’t go down you need to see your GP

I am not liking your post as because it was so swollen there was nothing to like. Have you contacted your rheumy darling to see what they say. Hugs.xxxx

See how it goes sweetie and if it doesn’t improve please see your gp. It looks really painful 😖. Bless you sweetie. Love and hugs 🌹🌹🤗🤗😘😘

When my hands got like that I used to dunk in a bowl of very cold water ( or water and ice cubes) for 20 mins every few hours it's brilliant at getting the swelling down. Also gentle movement to help the body carry the fluid away. It's something the Physio's would do with me ( feet too) whilst in the Rheumatology Unit after bad flares. Don't use heat as it encourages more inflammation. It's painful st first but you have to just grin and bare it. Hope it's soon improved.

Ooooh but that looks sore. You've already been given some good advice so all I can offer is a big sympathetic gentle hug

Hello there... just wondering how your hand is now as it’s been a couple of days since your steroid jab??? Not expecting a dramatic improvement but hoping it’s certainly not worse!

That is fantastic and you can be very hopeful that the inflammation will now start to come down and you’ll start to get movement back. I always find it amazing how, even a little, inflammation causes me to feel so rough and exhausted. I’m so pleased the pain has been eased so quickly for you. What a relief!
