Well i have been home since Monday and am in a flare. What caused the flare well last week away i forgot to take enough pregablin and by Wednesday i had run out and i thought we i will will be home on Monday so i should manage until then. How wrong was i!!! By Saturday i was shaking ,fast heartbeat sweating and had the trots and i felt really ill. So i ended up ring 111 and they couldn't have been more helpful. They got me into to see a dr at the hospital in Whitley bay and he couldn't have been nicer. He gave me enough drugs to see me through until i got home. Added to my woes on Thursday while at Howick hall my damn scooter packed up and couldn't be repaired,so we had to buy a new one. We was pig sick as the other one was only just over 12mnths old. I was at the drs yesterday and it turns out i am in a flare as i feel more exhausted than usual,so tired, and in a lot of pain. I keep plodding through we are at the hospital this morning to pick up a form for breathing tests for pre-op on my toes as they have lost the last one. Just great. Have a great day everyone and hugs.xxxx

I’m afraid we’ve given up on holidays, it’s all too much for me and I need my home comforts, it’s just not worth the hassle anymore. Some would say I am being defeatist, well yes I am, this wretched disease has taken me over. Hope you get sorted at hospital today Sylvi and soon get your toes operated on. It never ends does it ?? Sending love, Lynda xxxx

My daughter was on pregabalen for anxiety . Her new G P advised her to come off but gradually. She started to do that and then after a few weeks and forgetting to get a repeat prescription just took herself off completely. She was soon in a terrible state. Extremely emotional and would have furious outbursts of anger. She too was shakey. It's a very powerful drug ( drug dealers sell it) . You have to come off very gradually each month.

Poor you. We all look forward to a holiday and then to have it spoilt is v sad. Let's hope the sun comes out soon and stays out too.
