I am home from my holiday.......

Good morning from my comfy recliner, well as you can see i am back from my holidays. What a week it has been too. Unbeknown to me and me not checking i didn't take enough pregablin and i became very ill by Saturday with heart racing,Delhi belly and sweats. It took me until Saturday morning before it clicked that it was withdrawal symptoms i was going through. So on the mobile i got to ring 111 and i have to say they were brilliant. They rang me back twice and they got me a drs apt at the hospital and the dr who saw me was lovely and he gave me enough drugs to cover me until if needed to get a fresh prescription. So off to the pharmacy at Morrisons we go and as soon as hubby got them i took two and within an hour i was feeling tons better.

To add insult to injury my scooter packed up and we had to buy a new one which we was angry about as the other one was only about 12mnths old, well as i couldn't walk far we had to buy one which my dh was not impressed with i can tell you,but it had to be done sadly. So it was an expensive holiday all round. Not only those two things my back was playing up as well as i can't sleep flat anymore and it was a right struggle. You would think by this post that we didn't have a good time, but we did would you believe,we had fantastic weather for the time of year and i have the makings of a nice tan. We got out to some lovely places as well,Cragside house and gardens(will definitely be going back here) Alnwick castle and gardens(always have to visit this place) Howick hall and gardens(home of Lord Grey the reason behind Earl Grey tea and where my scooter broke down) this was a lovely surprise,Seaton Delaval ( lovely surprise this as more of the hall had been opened up) there is a lot of work going on here as well. This place had a big load of steps to get into the hall which i couldn't do,but i did get to go in the servants quarters. I said to one of the guides " i don't expect to be able to access all of the hall, but i do expect to access most of it" Being disable does have its advantages though a lot of places either let you go in free or your carer/hubby so it can't be all bad and anyway i am more keen on the gardens anyway.

Anyway thats enough of my ramblings for one day.Hugs to you all.xxxxx
