Perm

I have been taking methotrexate for 7 years. My has always been thick and course. When I first began taking the mex, I did not loose any hair. My question is - I want to get a wavy perm and I am wondering if any of you have ever had any problems with perm reactions - does the perm hold, etc.

thank you,

Kathy smith

One of my friends got a perm and it didn’t hold for very long but she has always had thin hair and never would hold curl good to begin with sorry this isn’t much help and she is on Mtx and has been for years I have never seen her hair as long as it it now though

I have been on 20mg for many years. I have my hair permed every three months and coloured every six weeks. My hair went quite thin after the birth of my first child, but that was twenty years before I started mtx.
