Thank Goodness ........I don't have it!

I saw my Dermatologist this morning & the histology report came back that it is 95% certainly a Post Viral Rash, following what I thought was Flu back in January.

From photos he took of my torso two weeks ago, & those he took this morning it has faded slightly.

He reckons in 6/8 weeks it should be gone.....& most unlikely for a Dermatologist said sunlight will be good for it. So I'm off on holiday again as soon as I can arrange it,

He also said I can continue with the RTX infusions!

Thank you for all messages of encouragement whilst I was waiting for the results of the biopsy!

Hi AC - hope you had / are having a great relax in Tenerife. Only just found this thread as have been inactive for a bit, apart from swims when i can - they've now found a fracture in T12 tho' I have no ostoeporosis.... SSZ did 4me so RTX recommended and shd begin soonish , which is why i'm writing. picked up that you get this but know little re infusions process so yr info has been a boon. any other tips apart from tablet, book, headphones, kefir, bhajis etc etc ? xx

Hi GA.....Thank you I had a restful time inTenerife...hiding on the balcony as my Post Viral Rash was in full flow...but lovely blue skies & good food so I can't wait to get back there. Thankfully the PVR has now faded almost completely....so a lot of needless concern in the end.

re Rituximab infusions, just relax & look forward to it working & take anything with you to pass the time. The nurses who administer the infusions are extremely knowledgable & are constantly checking up on you.

If you ever feel a bit strange always mention it.....slowing down the infusion speed sorts things 99% of the time, & if you feel a bit off for a couple of days after the infusion that sometimes happens too, but luckily I just feel a bit tired, but nothing major.

Good Luck, I hope you are as lucky as me & Rtx really helps you.
