Hi, I'm new here and probably have a lot of things to ask about but I'll start with my finger first;
So a few years ago, I would say about three or four, I sliced my finger with a large kitchen knife that went down to the bone. I didn't deal with it as well as I probably should have judging by the fact I panicked and shoved it in my mouth to make sure not to get blood everywhere. But that being said it seemed to make a good recovery.
Since then I keep getting random 'episodes' where the skin around the scar turns pink/red and it gets REALLY itchy. Also touching it makes me super uncomfortable to the point I avoid people doing so like the plague. It also seems slightly stiff when trying to extend it.
Is this 'normal' or should I get it checked out?

I cut my finger years ago with trying to pull a corn beef tin apart it was so deep it. I had to have it stitched in cold weather I still feel pain now but I was told i cut mine right next to my tendon.
If it’s concerning you why not get it checked out.
