I was told I may well and probably do have fibro as well as RD. Rheumy said treatment would not be any different if I have or have not got it so it made no difference to him.

It wasn’t mentioned specifically but the steroids I was given for three months at the start of my treatment for inflammatory arthritis got rid what I had felt for years was fibromyalgia.

A few years on and I’m still on the hydroxychloroquine and those pains have more or less stayed away although recently I’ve been feeling them again in my shoulders. I think that’s probably the cold and damp.

I would so love to take my body somewhere lovely and warm and ☀️

Honestly i'm not on many pills right now, i used to be on a good 40-50 a day with my lupus but it went into remission so i stopped it all except for my painkillers which i take for multiple health problems. But really nothing has ever really helped the fibro with me it just is what it is. I use CBD oil and that has been the only thing to touch the sides with the fibro pain, Holland and Barret has a huge sale on cbd right now :) worth trying i know loads of fibro warriors who use it and have noticed a huge change in their flares, less twitchy muscles and much less pain after a few weeks use :) xxx

Don't worry CBD isn't going to get you high it has no THC in :) doesn't give you any effects at all xxx

Ok il have look into to it.just to told to watch lady ga ga film on Netflix lol x

in reply to Nuttyshirlz

Make sure you go to reputable places like Holland and Barrett or you could end up with low quality cbd and that won't do anything for you. Amazon sell some CBD supplements that work like fish oil does for your joints but i haven't tried them, i just use the oil :). Oh yes definitely watch that it's brilliant, i cried a few times seeing her in so much pain xxx
