Kenalog is wearing off !!

It's such a shame.. I had injection in November last year, and it has been the best I have felt in the last 2 years. I not only gave me relief from joint pain, tiredness , I also have chemical and food allergies and it also helped them tremendously.. I was able to wear makeup for first time in a good few years... I'm feeling quite down because it's all coming back and I've just realised how unwell I had been feeling before injection.. it's hard to describe, but my body feels as if it's at odds like constantly fighting something. Does anybody else feel this way? I'm now counting days until see rheumy nurse to start MTX in February. Can anyone give advice about vitamins I should take to help this disease? At the moment I'm on vitamin D from Dr..

Sorry I've rambled a bit, it's just good to be able to speak to people in similar situations.

I think my family is fed up listening to me as its taken quite long to get to this ..

Take care

Thank you will look at this

I first went gluten free nearly a year ago and it helped with the brain fog and tingling in arms and legs , I also went dairy free a few months ago and I feel that's helped with the tiredness , I eat red meat once a week I'll maybe try stop that too

It’s so interesting how each of us reacts differently to various foods, GFmum. 😯 Truly fascinating. 🤔

Here’s some pretty ‘safe’ (nutritionally complete) baseline foods ( healthunlocked.com/nras/pos... ) that might be of interest? 🤔 You may already be familiar with them. [Found they work well for me in keeping inflammation at bay.]

Hope brain fog 🧠🌫 , tingling ✨, & tiredness 😴 continue to subside, GFmum. 🙏

Best wishes to you. 😌 🙏 🍀 🌺 🌞

Before I got this thing under control I felt completely invaded by it, but now it's ok again. So hope MTX does it for you too.

Vitamin D is good, also ask GP if you can get B12 tested as that's also often low in people with RA.

From my perspective it has helped me a lot to clean up my lifestyle and live well. So no 1 for me is sleep! No 2 is exercise, then making sure to manage stress as much as I can, and then eat properly. (I'm assuming you don't smoke and are of normal weight...if not those are 1 and 2).

I tried a range of diets for months than did nothing for my RA, so now just stick to lots of fish and vegetables and not much saturated fats and sugars. But we each have to find what works for us, as some people seem to be more sensitive to specific foods. I don't take any supplements apart from vit D as despite being outdooors a lot I struggle to keep levels up.
