Body feels off when I wake up

Hi, I recently have been feeling very weird when I wake up. My heart is racing, and I am short of breath, and it feels like I am on the verge of a panic attack. I don’t know if this is because of my anxiety order or medication that I take, or what. But if anyone has any idea as to why I feel this way every morning as of recent, that would be great. x

I feel awful when I wake up. Not quite as you describe. Just generally cack. I feel a bit better after I've moved around a bit and had a drink.

I wondered if I was dehydrated

I've experienced this since meds were raised .It's a bit frightening .I'm seeing my rheumy con Monday goingvto mention it.I've also had a couple of dizzy spells so need to get to bottom of that .There's so many side effects but you have to mention them all in case😏

yeah, i’m really wondering if it could be the meds. for sure will talk to doctor about it.

It's tricky bc you say you also have anxiety disorder. Either way need to inform your doctor about it immediately. Imagine the meds you are taking are exasperating your anxiety condition. Please try to get in contact with doc.

I used to get that when I was on high dose steriods, it felt like withdrawal symtoms of the drug. It calmed down after I took my morning dose. I hope you get it sorted, it's not a good way to start your day.

I would ask for your iron levels to be checked as well.

We can be prone to Anaemia with autoimmune disease.
