A lot of people write on here that different dmards don't work for them and what they have to go through to possibly get to one that works. I have had R A for 35 years and like a lot of people getting this disease for the first time wonder what is going on "does the rheumatologist know what he is doing" I have attached a link to a site which tells you about biologics and anti tnf's all of them different in that they target different things that cause the immune system to attack itself, because they do this it means the doctor has to try and find which one works for you it is tedious and painful but stick with it till you find something that works for YOU!
