NRAS Group Meetings— Week Commencing 20th November 2017

Three Counties NRAS Group

This group meets at St. Francis Church Hall, 121 Upper Chobham Road, Frimley, Surrey, GU15 1EE bi-monthly on a Tuesday from 7:00pm-9:00pm. Meetings are open to anyone living with RA, JIA and inflammatory arthritis.

21st November - Guest speaker: Dr. Dimitrios Christidis, Consultant Rheumatologist, Frimley Park Hospital

Torbay NRAS Group

This new group will hold their meetings at: Barton Baptist Church, Happaway Road, Barton, Torquay, TQ2 8HJ (lots of parking and access from the car park to the entrance is level - there is a lift to the upstairs main hall) once every other month on a Tuesday from 7:00-8:30pm.

21st November - Guest speaker 1: Mark Clemence, Physiotherapist Torbay & South Devon NHS Trust will present: ‘Physiotherapy and Rheumatoid Arthritis’. Guest speaker 2: Zoe Weller, Occupational Therapist Torbay & South Devon NHS Trust will present: ‘General Help from the OT Department’ (emphasis on hands and arms)

West Middlesex NRAS Group

This group meets at Hillingdon Baptist Church Halls, Patterson Room, Hercies Road, Uxbridge, Middlesex, UB10 9LS (to access the nearest car park go in to Auriol Drive and follow the road to the car park at rear). Meetings run from

2:00pm - 4:00pm quarterly on a Thursday.

23rd November - Guest speaker: Colin Morris from Department of Work and Pensions

Croydon NRAS Group

The Croydon NRAS group hold meetings at Purley United Reform Church Hall, 906 Brighton Road, Purley, Surrey, CR8 2LN. Please see below for full details of meeting dates, times and topics.

Thursday 23rd November - Guest speaker: Steve Triner, CEO at CAB (Citizens Advice Bureau) Sutton will be speaking about local services available to people living with Rheumatoid Arthritis

You, your family, friends and healthcare professionals are all very welcome to attend and you don’t have to be a member of NRAS to attend a group meeting!
