My recovery photo - It was indeed a great achievement

A month before I was sick in May 2014, I had a gathering with my classmates for the first time after 35 years. The 2 of us before the gathering night, went hiking and I was still very healthy then.

In Sept 2014, 2 months after I was sick. The first trip out and my daughter was always with me because I could easily fall over even when I walked on a very flat road. It was a small island and I was screaming in pain when she tried to help me over onto a small boat. Finally I told her to just stand still and let me hold her instead, to cross over as I knew how to minimize the pain in my body. I remembered my daughter had to put on my shoes for me before we went out for the trip. I was lucky that she happened to come home while I was very sick.

Aug 2017, I went to Taiwan alone. I joined the ceremony of my youngest son before he went for his housemanship thereafter. I looked very much healthier then and no one could/can tell I am a RA patient in fact.

Thank you. I hope too. Over here, as long as something not right, my rheumy told me to just walk in to see them. I guess in this way I am very lucky though.

I do yoga every morning. I take part in voluntarily work in the communities around me. I feel so fruitful and happy hence I am very contented in life.

Dear Marie,

The painful journey is over but I continue to check if there is any possible way to live a normal without the DMARDs.

I hope all of us get healthier each day.
