This is a good read, especially if you've got locked into that "damn this disease and the pain and the end of my life as I knew it" vicious circle of thinking that can't be helped when living with this wretched disease:

Oh I felt like that! The first time and the second time I read it I didn't know whether to laugh or cry and was convinced that whoever wrote it CLEARLY wasn't suffering from a chronic illness. But by the third reading I started to come out of my snarly pain-riddled corner and understand what she was talking about...and then it's quite revealing and refreshing.

Thank you for posting that I loved it. Really helpful to be reminded that we still have lives to lead and we can choose our attitude to this disease, yes it's hard and people don't understand the pain and life changing consequences, my sister told me all I needed was a positive attitude at a time when I was unable to walk! But let's not let the .... get us down, cherish what you have today we have no idea what may happen tomorrow.

It provided a nice interlude to pain - tough when drugs aren't working tho !
