Work!

I have had RA for six years, take MXT, Naproxen, all the usual painkillers which seem to work quite well. Up until i was diagnosed i worked full time and then had to reduce hours to 23 per week. Recently fatigue is gettng worse and from being a happy smiley person I am now finding myself getting bad tempered, frustrated at feeling tired and needing to rest up. Making me feel very stressed and teary and just not wanting to go to work anymore.

Is it possible for you to have some time off? Often a break from work to rest can just tip the balance towards being able to cope again.

I had a few days off a couple of weeks ago, but on return to work had to catch up as no one covers my job when I’m off. Thinking that maybe I need to find a different job as they don’t seem to understand.
