Hope you have more luck than us in South Africa Weather was too rough to go on a boat and never sported any from the beach.😏. Enjoy😁

We did see whales at least three pods of Orca's. I did not get good pictures. They go up and down so quickly. I was a fantastic day. The boat was much larger than when we went in Tofino. It was very smooth. The views as always are so fantastic. We live in the most beautiful city in the world. Biased I am sure but true non the less lol 😂 we have Rocky Mountains, Pacific Ocean, rain forest. So much to see and do here at home. Traveling has become very difficult but no need to just sit at home, not that I mind.

Sounds great. We have to travel to see 'bigger' wildlife as we are in the uk. We are off to Abu Dhabi and Australia in the new year so we will see what we can find there 😃

My daughter is doing an eight month coop with Australia next year. We are considering a visit however the distance is daunting in my current condition. Who knows what will be but would love to go back.

Yeah it is a hell of a long flight.about 20 hours from the uk. How far for you? We have done it before a few years ago. Love the place. We are going to stay in Melbourne and visit Ayres rock, which we missed last time. Well if you go in January that's when we will be there. Mainly so my wife can go to the Australian tennis open. Which will be her last grand slam she hasn't seen off her list 🙄

We did a European tour in 2004, then Paris and England in 2006, Venice then a cruise including Malta, Sicily, Rome, Greece and Turkey in 2014 , I was diagnosed, finally in 2015.

Since then we did Mazatlan , Mexico. I am only booking cruises now except for short flights. We do have a port in Vancouver but have not looked to see if we can leave from here or fly to US or East Coast,. She does not go until September 2018.

I haves scheduled a cruise to Bahama's for April. That is where I fell in love with diving. Both youngest have PADI certification so want to go and show her and certain she will love it.

Oh she will love Oz. Our son spent a year there. Of course she is bound to go to Cairnes and the barrier reef😁. We like cruises too but I'm lucky I can still fly. So far long haul not a problem. My wife has been to Canada a few times on the west coast, Banff etc. I went twice but working. So no time to sight see 🙄

I have been to 26 countries and intend to add a few new to the list but Canada remains to me, the best country in the world 🌎 Vancouver is exceptional in many ways but East Coast, Maritimes are beyond words.

I love the history and architecture of Europe but home is home lol I did grow up in Ontario but have lived in BC since 1993. My family is here so harder to leave.
