Morning everyone

I have been on Humira since October, for the last 2 months I have experienced chronic diarrhea, does this sound familiar to anybody else? Many thanks Xx

It may not be the Humira. Whilst I was on MTX (the first time round) I developed chronic diarrhoea, watery, bloody and sooo painful. I thought that it was the MTX but it turned out that I had developed lymphocytic colitis which then caused my rheumatologist to confirm my diagnosis of PsA/Spondyloarthropathy as this is part of the disease. So it may be that you have developed this. Clemmie

Yes it sounds familiar. Humira has many many side effects. Some not listed on the drug monograph that comes with the drug.

I would seriously talk to your rheumatologist about this. I had some nasty side effects from Humira. One was diarrhea and the other was nasty little doughnut shaped blisters all over my hands and fingers. So painful that I could not pick up a fork to eat.

My rheumatologist at that time did not give a rats patute about this. I stopped the drug and all symptoms went away.

Talk to your doctor and stop the drug for a while until symptoms go away.

Cheers

Scott
