Hi all, after over a year of suffering I am getting the barbotage procedure carried out on my shoulder in 2 weeks. How painful is this procedure and does it work? I'm am on a waiting list for the keyhole surgery but I might not need it if Barbotage works?

Hi tina , i had shoulder problems for years after a work injury and was given a number of steroid injections but eventually they stopped working. The doctor tried borbotage but i had too much calcium built up in the joint and he had to give up . It was a bit sore but I think it was worse because it took so long. I then had the decompression key hole surgery which took a while to get over and months of physio but i have a pain free shoulder now , it is amazing after years of severe pain . I hope this helps , best wishes for the procedure i hope all goes well 🌸🌸🌸
