Just about to start mxt tomorrow too. Have been on this drug before, then leflunomide then went into remission, for a few months, but lef gave me trembling and pins and needles. Have had an awful 4 weeks of horrible pain so back to mtx. Also told both knees have osteoarthritis so will have to get new ones. So Keeping fingers crossed that this works. Came off mtx last time because of migraines, really hoping i can cope better this time. Not fair is it !

Good luck this MTX time - make sure you drink plenty (no, not alcohol!) and take folic acid at least 3 days a week. Hope the migraines stay away!

I'm starting methotrexate on Thursday soo nervous of the side effects x

Hi let me know how you get on. I remember last time i was on it, it does take some time to get used to it so give it a good go, i am seeing my rhumatologist in october so hoping by then i will be fine ok. Good luck

The fun just never stops does it? I sincerely hope the MTX is better for you this time and that lovely remission returns very soon. Hugs
