Having a lovely holiday with pain in the neck.....

Well everyone we are coming to the end of our holiday and i can say i will be glad to be going home despite having lovely weather and it has been very very hot here. I have had chronic neck pain and the emergancy dr. rang me yesterday and without seeing me has given me Ibrobrufen gel which the chemist hasn't got in until later this afternoon. I am in so much pain that when we were out yesterday i was crying with the pain.xxxxxx

Poor you . You've had it so rough, for such a long time. I genuinely hope they can sort something out for you and allow you some respite from your pain .

I'm on holiday too, I woke up with a right arm which will not lift up very painful. Came on suddenly. I am on antibiotics so meds were stopped methotrexate and hydro... Not allowed painkillers, so I know what you went through. Can't wait to get home

Hi Sylvi, so sorry to hear that you are in so much pain. I hope the gel will give you some relief. I use volterol gel and heat with ice packs. We are having such a lot of rain which is playing havoc with my joints. I can't wait to start the new infusions/injections. I should hear next week. I now kinda feel bad about giggling when I read your title. "Having a lovely Holiday with pain in the neck.." I thought you were talking about your wonderful loving husband!!

You could try "magnesium oil" you can buy from health shop. I spray on neck helps and works quickly. Highly recommend !!

It's really lovely to go on holiday but I always think there's no place like home when you are feeling ill.

It happened to me when I was on holiday and I could not wait to get home.
