Thanet Rheumatoid Arthritis Information Evening on Thursday 25th May 2017

Taking place at: The Main Hall, Lower School, Dame Janet Primary Academy,

Newington Road, Ramsgate, Kent CT12 6QY

(car park in the school and street parking outside)

The Thanet Rheumatoid Arthritis Information Evening will take place on 25th May, with the support of the National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society and rheumatology team of Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother Hospital. The meeting is open to anyone living with Rheumatoid or Inflammatory Arthritis as well as their family members, carers and health professionals. This is a free event and everyone is welcome to attend and you do not need to be a member of NRAS.

NRAS is encouraging people with Rheumatoid or Inflammatory Arthritis living in the area to attend this meeting and find out more about their disease, local rheumatology services and the invaluable resources on offer from NRAS. There will be a keynote presentation by a member of the rheumatology team and an interactive question and answer session offering attendees the opportunity to ask questions of the expert health care professional panel.

Following this event there will continue to be regular NRAS group meetings. This local group offers mutual support, information, and the opportunity to contribute to the development of long term patient care within your local NHS and have regular interaction with your health care professionals.

We do hope you will be able to join us at this meeting and/or attend future meetings. We look forward to welcoming you for refreshments from 6.15pm on 25th May at Dame Janet Primary Academy.

Please let us know if you plan to attend so we can ensure adequate seating and refreshments, or let us know if you wish us to add you to the emailing list for notices of future meetings if you can’t attend this one – call 01628 823 524 and speak to Kim or Gill or email groups@nras.org.uk.
