Sprain or strain....

For the past week the pain in my left hand.(the better one)..has brought me to tears..& believe me I have a high pain tolerance level...every time I move my thumb it feels like hot needle inserted..takes my breath away for min..I've been to doctors who is phoning me today..to see if naproxen is working. As I said before do have morphine but want alternative...I have to say no..as still get 2hrs sleep a night before agonising pain..anyone got suggestions?? As cutting off seems most thought action at min..😣😞😞

Snap I'm having probs with both hands at moment especially left don't know if it's to do with weather or steroid injections have worn off

I have this at times, yesterday the occupational health nurse give me a splint for my thumbs. These help to stop you moving your thumb too much so less pain. Perhaps if you ring the helpline the nurse there could refer you for some
