hi im sondra i have ra on plaqunile i have had bad stomach cramps and thay go in my chest then theroat and i have diarrea does anyone eles have this

I was on it I got reall ill with it so came of it. I'm on methotrexate now. Not so many problems

No haven't been sick but sometimes next day I feel a bit sick. Sometimes when I'm really tired don't feel like eating. Just have something light

Hi there the reply from19northside2 is soooo right, I developed a condition called Dysbiosis, it is where the bad bacteria take over and I became very ill for 4 years before finally being diagnosed in Australia. Please look it up and perhaps ask your doctor for a test! 😀

I find the microbial of our intestines fascinating. Periodontal disease also has an unknown connection with both RA and Dysbiosis. I'm glad studies are being done on this. Hopefully a cure will be found soon.

Hi sondraterry - I would recommend you call your GP to let them know what is happening, and they can sort out what is normal and what needs to change if anything.

Hiya Sondra. If you can't get into or don't have an appointment with your Rheumy any time soon I'd see your primary, he/she should be able to help. One question though, if you don't have medical insurance how are you still able to take Plaquenil (hydroxychloroquine HCQ)? Being specialist medication you should be having some motoring bloods every quarter or so.

i have a discount card from my doctor that helps me get it and i go to a mt people clinic and i do have blood work its very low price just no rhumos

Oh that's good. I'm not familiar with mt people clinic Sondra, do they provide eye tests too? You should be having annual eye tests on HCQ. Will there be someone there you can speak to about your side effects? I had some on HCQ but none of the ones you have, I had headaches & light sensitivity, then it stopped working, so it was changed to methotrexate. There are options if your side effects don't settle, don't worry.

I had many stomach issuses while on this drug. If you can hold on, it will subside. Please tell your GP about your side effects maybe he can give you something to ease your symptoms. Or maybe he can switch your meds.

How can a chiropractor heal RA? As for RA starting in the gut that has not been proven. The World Health Organization has not recognized "leaky gut syndrome" nor has the NHS, Health Canada, FDA etc. Can you site a governing medical body that has?

Dr. John Bergman would only be to happy to take your money...Dr. Bergman also cures cancer with his chiropractor technique.....maybe he is a miracle worker that deserves the Nobel Peace Prize?...Or maybe he is just another con man preying on the sick...

Just read that there are 11,600 studies and research done on gut permeability ( leaky gut ) and on it's health effects. Look at Pub Med publications.

Please site a governing body that states "leaky gut" is real. Studies are on going, but have not been proven yet. Leaky Gut is theory as of March 2017 not yet proven. Maybe you don't know the difference between on going studies and what has been proven?

Love this study. Hope they will eventually prove Leaky Gut. Glad they are still trying to prove it. But alas, still not proven as they state in their conclusion.

Here is a section of this studies conclusion ....". There are still questions that remain to be answered: does the immune system shape the gut microbiota or vice-versa?

So maybe you don't understand the difference between what is proven and what is a study?

Very interesting. A good study on Intestanal permebility....IP is quite different from Leaky Gut. IP causes Crohns....got one on Leaky Gut? IP has been proven and is different from Leaky Gut. Maybe you are unaware of this?

Sounds really good. You write so well....but sadly Leaky Gut is a theory still left to be proven. One can also type in the connection between left toe and brain....still I think your surgical nurse is a good salesman. Maybe she would make more money selling used cars?

Leaky Gut is still not recognize by WHO. Maybe one day, but not yet.

Question for you. You seem to claim to know how to cure RA with your oils.....so why are you asking on another post "what does ccp mean?"

You may be a very nice lady, but lets be honest. You do not have RA your adult son has AS. You do not know the pain of RA.

You don't know what a ccp is. So howcome you know how to cure RA??

I do realize that you love your son and want to help him. But in helping him cure himself actually will cause him to pull away from you. Of course he says he is doing better. He doesn't want to hurt you as he is still young. I too allowed people to tell me how to cure myself when I was diagnosed. I would tell them I'm fine and then I would go off and cry by myself.

I know you love your son. Listen to him, don't give him the "cure". You don't want him to walk away from you because he can not possibly live up to your "cure". He will feel like a failure and pull away from you.

Did you know 90% of people with AS have the HLA-B27 gene. So it tends to be genetic.

I have a good friend who was diagnosed with AS the same time I was diagnosed with RA. It is a horrible disease. It is closely connected to PSA more than RA.

You may not be aware that claiming such & such diet cures auto immune deseases actually makes your son carry the blame. You are claiming he caused his disease, not his genetic marker HLA-B27.

My heart goes out to your son. I too have an adult son who has bad eating habbits. I am constantly asking him to eat more veggies. He says he is...but...well.....
