Sensation

Am I mad or does anyone else feel a sensation of something touching their skin when, there's nothing there?! I keep feeling that a hair is touching my skin alon the side of my left index finger!?!?

Yes! But across my face and there really isn't a hair there - it is very annoying!

Anyone any ideas what it is, I thought it was just me!

i have some nerve damage and yes i will get sensations too, bugs me crazy, as far as being mad some days my deep seated anger is so bad i just have to do anytrhing i can to get rid of it because i know it will make me sick, my husband left me the day after i told him i had RA, i was the last to know he had a crush on a 27 year old girl and was going to her house and fixing things, yeah i bet, this chronic illness makes me made, it makes me mad i have to give up a good paying job and take a much lower paying job, i was going to file for disability but i can't wait a year with no income but as a home heath care taker i can rest when i need to and its probably the only job i could do at this point.

Ignore it is like a twitch the more you think about it the more it will irritate so use distraction therapy. Thats good advice from my GP re the one in my shoulder. But if your really worried talk to your GP.

I get this too - usually on my arms and frequently

On my nose! I've never really been concerned about it, not even given it much though - I guess for me, anything that's tickling, rather than hurting, is fine.

If you are going mad I'm going too. Just under my nose and along my top lip. I only started noticing it a couple of weeks ago but I get loads of itches anyway (occasional urticaria) and if it ain't hurting it's just another mild irritation.
