I am not certain if it is Fibromialgia, OA, or as yet unidentifiable connective tissue disorder, but I hate RAIN and COLD. Even if it is affecting your mood not your body the outcome is the same. I feel aweful. I feel guilty about doing nothing. I simply have no motivation.
Rain Rain Rain: I am not certain if it is Fibromialgia... - NRAS

I take it you've been to your GP or Rheumatologist, have they mentioned Fibromyalgia? Just a thought, there's quite a few of us also have it along side RA.
Yes my GP diagnosed me with Fibromyalgia in July 2015, however, I refused to accept that diagnosis and insisted on further testing. I could no longer walk and had recently had cortisone injections in fingers, thumb, shoulder. The following day the blood work came back. All markers were off the charts. My Cyclic Citrullinated Peptide antibody is 300. Anything over 250 ensure a far more aggressive disease. My inflammation was also off charts RF etc. Now I get copies of all tests so that I can learn what they mean. Access to information these days is unlimited. I am now great full for the years of education. I continue to learn new information everyday. It is indeed the Information Age.
You have been through the mill so to speak, did you know that fibromyalgia oesnt cause any swelling anywhere, I was given morphine patches, but not for fibromyalgia funny enough lol it was for RA which I knew nothing about lol, I used to run a fibromyalgia support group for 11 years and thought it has got too much for me and that was that lol, few months after I was diagnosed with Vascular Dementia and that was the reasons for getting worse as I couldn't remember anything lol.
Keep strong and I hope you can get some pain free sleep

Same, hate when it's cold and damp, am stiff, painful and depressed.
Forgot to say the cold can and does effect the Fibro and at times like that I could just curl up in a shop doorway lol.
