NRAS Group Meetings— Week Commencing 13th February 2017

Great Yarmouth NRAS Group

The Great Yarmouth & Waveney NRAS Group meet in the ‘Buzz Room’ of the Louise Hamilton Centre, James Paget Hospital, Gorleston, Great Yarmouth, NR31 6LA from 5:30pm-7:00pm on the second Tuesday of each month. Meetings will sometimes alternate between a guest speaker and social meetings, please see below for details:

14th February - Social meeting

Lincoln NRAS Group

Bi-monthly meetings for this group are held at The Ark, Moor Lane, North Hykeham, LN6 9AB on the second Tuesday of every other month from 7:00-9:00pm.

14th February - Guest speaker: Ian Scott, Pharmacist for the United Lincolnshire Trust Hospitals will be talking about biologics, biosimilars and other treatments for RA.

Yeovil NRAS Group

The Yeovil NRAS group hold coffee mornings once a month from 10:30am-12pm in two locations in Yeovil: Palmers Garden Centre Coffee Shop, Bernards Way, Bunford Lane, Yeovil, BA20 2FH and The Gateway Cafe, Addlewell Lane, Yeovil, BA20 1QN. Please see dates below for locations.

Wednesday February 15th - Gateway

East Dorset NRAS Group

The East Dorset group meet socially for coffee from 11am at Stewarts Garden Centre, Lyndhurst Road, Christchurch, Dorset, BH23 4SA and also Haskins Garden Centre, Longham, Ferndown, Dorset BH22 9DG. Upcoming coffee mornings are as follows: 16th February at Haskins

Plymouth NRAS Group

Phil and Rika co-ordinate this group and call themselves PADRAGS (Plymouth & District Rheumatoid Arthritis Group Support). The group meet monthly on a Thursday in the Health Education Room at Mount Gould Hospital, Plymouth PL4 7QD from 12-2pm.

16th February - Guest speaker: Nyathi Sindisiwe, Rheumatology Research Nurse at Derriford Hospital

North East NRAS Group

The North East Group run quarterly educational meetings which are held in Function Room 137, Education Centre, Level 1, Freeman Hospital, High Heaton, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, NE7 7DN from 5.30pm-8.00pm.

Thursday 16th February - Conn O'Neill, Policy & Public Affairs Manager at NRAS will present: 'Who Cares? An introduction to the campaign work of NRAS'

You, your family, friends and healthcare professionals are all very welcome to attend and you don’t have to be a member of NRAS to attend a group meeting!
