I had my first infusion of Ritaximub on the 29th. Took 8 hours. Took four goes to get the cannula in. Was exhausted when I got home and was in bed by 7.00pm. I know it's early days but I think I can feel a slight difference. I don't think I ache quite so much. Have the next infusion in two weeks. I am so hoping this works for me as I have had an awful year with aches, pains and stiffness.

Wishing you all a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year x

Hey Ellieellie I really hope things work out for you. Whilst I am not on Ritaximub and I don't know if this will help you out at all but what really helped me with stiffness was exercising and seeing a reflexologist. Before my knee got really bad I used to dance and the one thing that has allowed me to dance again is going to the gym every day. Good luck with everything.

I don't go to the gym but I am walking so much more since we got a dog. My husband can be away a lot so I don't have a choice but to walk. Nice to see my waist again and I am losing weight,

that's good new. Loosing weight may also help you out. I have suffered with thyroid problems and I am pretty sure that loosing weight really helped my joints as well. My physio always tried to get me to walk more but tbh I would rather just get on treadmill or use a bike or something. Something that my reflexologist told me was how my spine was rather fragile and it was important to do things like pilates etc but if there is anything I have learnt is any form of exercise is better than nothing. Really hope thins work out for you.

I hope this does work for you, my fingers are crossed. Happy New Year!!

Hi there happy new year. I had 1st infusion of rituximab in April. The first sign of improvement was the reduction in swelling in lymph nodes which happened quite quickly. I then felt less tired , then there was a reduction in the joint and muscle pain - it did take a couple of months . I was tired like after getting it and had bad gastritis but that has settled. I hope you have good success as im sure it was a big decision whether to do it. I may be having a 2nd infusion on Friday, all being well . Best wishes x

I hope it goes well for you. I have also noticed a slight reduction in muscle ache and tiredness. I know it's very early days for me but I so want this to work.

Just hang in there. I could not survive without this drug now. My life is mine again, and I am not in a fog of painkillers all the time.
