Have you been to your GP?. I dare say it could be anything I suppose, how do you mean your legs don't work properly, have you checked your batteries, , mine are inside my heels, lol, not really, I don't know where mine are I just plug myself into my computer, 50/60 minutes I'm fine again lol.

Hi Frangill

Might be a good idea to contact your GP, might be side effects? What do you mean by not working properly?

When were your bloods last taken? Sometimes bloods don't reflect the way we actually feel, though if they were done before you started to feel wobbly, it might be good to have them done again.

Hiya Frangill. I'm not quite sure what you mean by your legs don't work properly, if you can expand a little it might help us relate. Your hands, are all of your fingers affected or can you determine if it's all but your little finger? Just thinking if it could could be your median nerve being compressed due to inflammation. Carpal Tunnel Syndrome in later stages also often affects the arm or even up to the shoulder & is pretty painful, from experience it doesn't let up & can be quite disruptive. It's quite simple to diagnose & if it is CPS a small op under local anaesthetic usually solves it. Something to ponder on anyway & certainly mention it to your Rheumy.

My legs are a bit like this too. The neurologist tells me that in my case it's probably due to permanent damage to my tiny nerve fibres which sends the wrong signals (proprioception) to my spine and brain so my gait is slightly affected -ataxia I think it is called. I'm told mine is probably Sjogrens related, since this is my main disease, and can present very like MS and RA for some. Definitely get it checked out properly though.

Hi, Frangill. I know exactly what you mean because I have the same problem. I noticed it over a year before I was diagnosed with RA and I remain convinced that it is a symptom of the illness, though nobody, including my consultant, seems very interested. I have seen a physio who thinks it's about my hips. Twitchytoes' reply makes a lot of sense to me. I very much doubt that it's to do with your meds because, if your symptoms are the same as mine, there is no light-headedness - just, as you say, that your legs don't work.
