Who will deliver my biologics in Essex UK?

Hi- I did search on HU to see who might initially help me to administer my Cimizia and then continue to deliver (and hopefully be on the end of the line if I need advice) them, to no avail. Does anybody know?

I think it depends on your hospital. In my area, they use one of two; healthcare at home and alcura. I know HAH do some Essex deliveries though.

They are absolutely fine. There was a period of time when there were issues with delivery drivers but lately, things have been running smoothly. They phone me every 12 weeks and arrange a delivery. It saves me remembering!

I live in Essex. Healthcare at home used to deliver my enbrel and Humira. Lloyds Pharmacy homecare deliver my tocilizumab. Both are fine. They deliver to my work address so I don't have to take a day off work. ☺

I live in Essex. I have been having Cimzia delivered for a year and no problems. You get a 2 hour delivery slot the day before your delivery is due. Healthcare at Home have advice lines too which I have used with queries and letters for flying with medication. When I started they arranged for nurses to come to my home and help me administer the first 2 times.

Healthcare at Home deliver mine. It has to come out in a refrigerated van. They deliver all over the country. They also send out a nurse to show you how to inject yourself. They also provide a sharps bin service. I live in Essex, x

Hi - I live in halstead,Essex, on the Essex /Suffolk border,and I have healthcare at home deliver my enbrel every 8 weeks. They also arrange delivery and disposal of your sharps bins as and when that's required too.
