Need some advice

Went to see my oral surgeon today. He agreed to do the surgery on my teeth. But one of my wisdom teeth dint come though it is setting on two nerves . He told me if I was to get it out that I might lose the left side of my face. And that it might take 3 months to recover from the surgery

Get a 2nd opinion. Sometimes it is too dangerous to take out fully impacted wisdom teeth where the nerves are invovled. Sometimes it can cause permanent numbness too.

They have to tell you the worse sinario, few yrs back I had to go get a tooth out at hospital dentist wouldn't do it as it was touchin nerves are could end up with damage to my sinuses but it was rotting and needed taking out I haven't had any trouble they perform this routine daily, I would think about going ahead getting it done I been fine.

My dentist said he couldn't take a tooth out as it was close to nerves and there was a risk of nerve damage but referred me to the appropriate surgeon as it had to come out. Fortunately I had no problems after the extraction. If it doesn't need to be removed then Leave it alone but if it does then it's a risk that you have to be informed of, not a certainty.
