Gome home today and this is the last holiday of the year.

We are traveling back home this morning after having a lovely time away in Skegness. We spent yesterday with a friend who moved here from our village after her marriage broke up. So it was nice catching up with her. She does pop in when she she caomes home at christmas to visit her sons and they families. We went round the markets and then went for lunch at one of her favourite places,then we went to some places where she lives and the duckpond was lovely and then we sat in her garden drinking tea and enjoying the late afternoon sun.

This morning we are off home and i will be glad to get home as this morning i am in a lot of pain from my neck and back. THank heavens it is a short trip by some we have made this year. This is the last time we will be away this year apart from when we take the gifts down to the family for christmas.

Glad you've had a good holiday. It's our last day today too. We set off home tomorrow (from the south of France), break the journey tomorrow ( I can't sit for long periods of time - joints stiffen! and continue to Calais on Monday. It's still like part of sour holiday really. We'll get home to Birmingham on tajes day.
