My elbow joints are one tiny point of screaming agony.

But my pain was just in my heels for about a year. Now my elbows are in a bad way. I'm going back to work in three days and I can't lift a cup of coffee without pain. What am I going to do?

Hi, unfortunately I don't think you should be going back to work. You have to put yourself and your health first. Have you rung your rheumatology helpline? I understand what it's like to have elbow pain and I needed to have both steroid injected which sorted them out. It might mean you need to have your medication reviewed to get your body back on track. In the meantime ice packs might help reduce some pain or alternatively heat packs depending on which works better for you. I hope you get it sorted soon. Ruth

I'm still waiting on a diagnosis. I have my first appointment in October....I have no note to confirm any specific ailment. I am worried about how I will function. Thanks for your reply. I'm going to go in and see if I can manage. If not, I will seemail my GPS for a note to tide me over until I can see the specialist. Thanks for your advice. It's kind of what I was thinking.
