Hi I'm new to the site. Dignosed with RA about 3 years ago after years of being told there was nothing wrong. Found this forum after looking for support after bad week at work. Good to have people who understand.

Hello Littlemunch . So glad you're here. I know what you mean by being told ' there's nothing wrong'. Well of course there is, it just takes a long time to diagnose RA.

I'm sorry about your bad week at work. Having a forum like this helps so much. People understand here.

I hope you have a lovely weekend.

Hugs.

Hello Littlemunch, everybody on this forum is here because they care and understand, so you'll be in good company and I hope you'll get hope and comfort here. The majority of us are not clinicians, so can't give medical advice, but may point you in the right direction. The NRAS website is a valuable source of information. I've lived with RA for seven years now and live is good. I wish you all the best. Keep us up to date.

Hello Littlemunch, so sorry you have Ra or similar. Like you it took 2 years and working through 4 GP's at surgery until one actually listened. The others kept saying it was my weight but I kept at it because I knew it was something else. I think you have to be assertive and not give in to doctors who will not listen, the GP who did listen was fantastic and then the others showed more empathy but it was certainly a battle. Good luck do not give up you know your own body .
