Has anyone had Swanson joint replacement on all the knuckles of their dominant hand, if so was it successful and how did you cope? My non dominant hand is also a mess and I am very worried I will not be able to cope, op due 3rd June.

Hi Siskin, two years ago my joints of my knuckles are all replaced of my dominant hand. The pain has gone but the my fingers are crooked fingers again because the tendons are beween the knuckles again. It was worth it because it is less painfull now. Wish you succes!

Thank you Bas, so sorry not a great success, this is a rotten disease isn't it.
High I've had my first finger on my right hand (dominant hand ) done but haven't found it that successful can't bend the knuckle any more than before but the pain has gone , both knees and wrists have been replaced or stabilised successfully so please don't refuse it till you do a bit more research xxDawn
